This nails it!
“It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness.”
Bad Vibe Busters® is on a mission to bust negative forces, fear, suffering and disempowerment and invite you to focus your energy on the thriving, harmonious new earth reality we all wish for. We’re all about:
- inspiring and guiding from the dark to the light
- ramping up the good vibes to bust the bad vibes
- unifying to upstage the bad vibes that want to divide us
- highlighting pivotal choice points for effective living
- catalysing personal and collective empowerment
- galvanising a new collective empowered reality for Humanity II
- destructive emotions and behaviours
- trying to pull away from bad influences
- the actions of those immersed in hate and fear
- undefined negative energies or unseen dark forces
…the GOOD NEWS is, there’s so much we can all do to bust bad vibes!
We reckon it’s not fair that everyday people can be so badly affected by doom and gloom, negativity and/or certain energies and too often be unable to determine what the cause of the problem is – or what they can do about it.
Whether it’s coming from us or at us, there’s often a bigger picture than what we can see. We’re here to provide a range of conventional and unconventional (mostly free) resources that catalyse greater insight and choice for empowered, effective, life-enhancing self-determination AND collective evolution that turns the tables on bad vibes…because really, aren’t we soooooooooo over the nasty stuff?
We also are in the planning stages of providing a platform for you to link into our global initiatives for collective empowerment – with options for you to give or receive, or both.
We’ve even created a ‘Woo Woo scale’ so you can choose what level works for you – from zero woo woo (totally conventional)
to off the woo woo scale (things that many can attest to, but not everyone’s cup of tea, and that’s totally okay!)
Beyond a Flat World
While we respect other people’s beliefs and can easily work with conventional tools and modalities, we also encourage people to expand their awareness to possibilities beyond what they’ve been conditioned to believe. Just as yoga was fringe and now it’s mainstream, and chiropractic was seen as quackery 30 years ago and is now considered conventional, we believe many of the things we work with will one day be accepted and considered normal.
The perspective we have is based on our own experience and we ask that you neither accept or reject, but rather, stay open to the possibilities. (See ‘You Decide’) Just because science hasn’t discovered a way to measure some of these things, it doesn’t mean they’re not there. The world was ‘flat’ once, remember?! (The good news is that science is starting to catch up.)
We open doors of possibility, and it’s up to you to decide which doors you want to walk through, what new ideas you may wish to explore or experience. You may decide that none of them are for you, in which case there are many other resources available all over the planet for you to explore.
There may be some who try to make sense of what we do by putting it into a religious or anti-religious context. Neither of these is where we are coming from. Bad Vibe Busters® has an approach based on a belief that there is a universal intelligence (which the majority of the world’s population believe even if we all call it by different names) and that there is so much more out there than what can currently be explained and that we will ever understand – even with quantum physics.
We see it that we are essentially a global family, ‘we’re all in this together’ and ‘united we stand, divided we fall.’ Our intention is to encourage all to be self empowered in a safe and balanced way and make choices that create a better life and living for ourselves and others – knowing that we all have capacities beyond what we are often aware of or give ourselves credit for.
We embrace the core principles of all religions, and we are happy to include religious quotes if they support our message, like this one…
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it,”
Gospel of John
Our definition of bad vibes
- Anything, anywhere, any time that contracts you, feels heavy, creates fear, stress, unease, hopelessness
- Experiencing destructive emotions
- Feeling controlled, that you have no choice
- Unseen negative energies
Our definition of energy
- Everything! Everything is energy. It’s simple, proven physics.
- The entire universe is energy – vibrating particles in space.
- Energy shows up in many different forms, seen and unseen.
- Just because some energies are unseen, it doesn’t mean they’re not there (e.g. radio waves, suppressed emotions, loved ones who have passed away, unexplained phenomena etc.)
‘Energy flows where attention goes.’
In other words, what you focus on, grows, and what you resist, persists. So where do you put your attention?
Mother Teresa demonstrated that she understood this when she said, “I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations.
I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I’ll be there.”
And finally, this demonstrates it best of all…
An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life…
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed,
“The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope,
“This same fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too.”
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked,
“Which wolf will win?”
The old chief simply replied,
“The one you choose to feed.”

The power of kindness
After the December 2014 Sydney Lindt Cafe siege and the ensuing racial tension, a gesture by Brisbane woman Rachael Jacobs’ inspired a social media movement. In an interview, Rachael said, “The movement has inspired thousands to publicly and loudly stand up for a decent and humane world,” she said.
“We know what fear can do to a society, and rather than fall victim, thousands have pledged to be part of the force…for tolerance and compassion.
“I…deliver a message to racists, bigots and anyone who dares to derive a message of hate from this tragedy – it is you who are unwelcome here. Your values have no place in civilised society, and if you spread intolerance, there’s an avalanche of kindness ready to take you down.”

A meal to cherish!
When an engaged couple calls off the wedding, it is usually a time of sadness and anger. But one family found a way to turn a terrible situation into a beautiful one…
These bikers are totally UN-Hell’s Angels!
What a magical way to take some hell out of abused children’s lives!
The Occupy Wall Street campaign hit a worldwide nerve and exploded into a larger Occupy movement. It’s all about people power, asserting for the greater good. This declaration is a great encapsulation of all that’s wonderful about it.
The Pixar movie, Monsters Inc. is a brilliant example of what we’re all about. Without giving too much away for those who haven’t seen it, there is an unquestioned status quo about the way things are, based on what society has been told that just isn’t true, resulting in a winners and losers system that justifies bad vibes.
Something unexpected happens to throw a spanner in the works and it expands the awareness of the main characters and leads to new choices being made that creates a whole new reality where good vibes triumph, everybody wins and everybody is happy.
Fabulous movie, fabulous message, very applicable to our society, a ‘joy boost’ to watch!!!!!!!!!!
Who Gives a Crap
Three awesome guys started Who Gives A Crap when they discovered that 2.5 billion people across the world don’t have access to a toilet, with related diseases filling over half of sub-Saharan African hospital beds and killing 1,400 children under 5 every day.
The key to their success being that they give a crap, that they have created a socially and environmentally responsible enterprise that is creative and fun, and they donate 50% of profits to WaterAid to build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world.
That’s bad ass, bad vibe busting, world changing awesomeness right there.
‘I see no signs of fear … I can feel my heart opening very wide’
The power of the collective
In January 2015 the world witnessed a spectacular example of the power of the collective making a potent statement, ‘We choose greater.’
It was France’s response to the massacre at the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo – though you could say more accurately, humanity’s response. Unprecedented, massive street marches expressed a unified message brilliantly expressed in a placard, ‘They wanted to bring France to its knees. Instead they brought Europe to its feet.’
Extending the hand of compassion
Here’s an uplifting article about some responses of every day people to the Syrian refugee crisis. Whether individuals or groups, or people responding to these initiatives, all of these are magnificent examples of bad vibe busting and cherishing our shared humanity.

For a fabulous example of bad vibe busting, be wowed by this incredible response a jilted bride had when faced with an unexpected and upsetting turn of events…
When might BVB help?
When might bad vibe busting help you?
- When the vibe just feels consistently off and is impacting on you.
- When you are fearful for your well being.
- When there has been serious or sustained anger, depression, conflict, grief, illness or trauma.
- Your children or animals are acting ‘out of sorts’.
- When land or buildings feel creepy or have had a bad history (whether you know it or sense it).
- When there are planetary changes – natural disasters etc.
- When there are human created global events that impact on us all – terrorism, war, human error causing catastrophe, etc.
When might it not help you? Read our warning (it’s the next tab after this one).
We are absolutely NOT suggesting people put themselves in any unsafe places or situations on any sort of ‘mission’ to bust bad vibes. Your safety is paramount and sometimes your belief that you can do it or your capacity to assess/discern any given situation may not be enough to keep you safe.
We don’t advocate busting bad vibes by attacking them or antagonising them or getting in amongst them in an attempt to influence them in any way. We advocate removing yourself from anything you perceive as bad vibes and turn your focus to ramping up the good vibes – which tends to dissipate the bad vibes through greater awareness, better choices and better actions focused on moving towards what you want rather than moving away from what you don’t want. (When it comes to unseen energies, there are also a few things you can do that are a bit higher up the Woo Woo scale, if you’re open to that.)
Please read our disclaimer to more fully understand our position on this.
At Bad Vibe Busters® we are clearly not able to – and certainly don’t expect to – be all things to all people. While we obviously can’t bust every bad vibe on the planet, and we can’t help you bust every bad vibe happening in your life – we know we can help with some, and put a serious dent in others – and that is our intention.
What would it take for us all to do everything we can to dissipate as many bad vibes as we can by turning our focus and our efforts towards creating and maintaining good vibes?
That’s what we choose.
